Transactions Over A Linked Server

  Is there a way to include transactions over a local and linked server or just a linked server by itself.

  I am getting the following error.

  Server: Msg 7392, Level 16, State 2, Procedure spGlobalUpdateUserID, Line 164

  Could not start a transaction for OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB'.

  [OLE/DB provider returned message: Cannot start more transactions on this session.]

  Is this a limitation or is there a way to do this. Any help will be appreciated.
