Remote Backup...

    Hello All,

    Long time...

    Is there any way that I can do a remote backup from the client machine. That is, from the SQL Client, I want to put the backup file into the client mac instead of the server.??

    Is just \\machinename\foldername work out?

    Should work fine, but you will need to have the machine on the same domain and SQL will have to have rightd to that share or you will run into rights issues.
