I have a problem when using the navigation hyperlink on a field in one of my reports. In my report, I have a column with an ID in it. What I would like to happen is when the user clicks on the ID, it will take them to a URL with the ID as a parameter in the hyperlink.
Example:
The user clicks on ID 123456, it should open a page with the 123456 appended to the end. Something like this - http://www.website.com/default.asp?ID=123456
I have tried putting this in the hyperlink expression:
http://www.website.com/default.asp?ID= & Fields!Quote_Header_ID.Value
but it doesn't work, it takes me to the page:
http://www.website.com/default.asp?ID=%20&%20Fields!ID.Value
How can I get the actual number to take the place of the string, 'Fields!ID.Value'?
Any ideas/suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks.

in the Jump to URL box try:
="http://www.website.com/default.asp?ID=" & Fields!Quote_Header_ID.Value
note the equals at the beginning and the position of quotes.

I had a similar problem because I had multiple parameters to append. I created a finction in the report code that returned the URL String.
