Error While Registering Analysis Server

    Hello Colleagues,

    I have Analysis Server with ASP4 on one server and able to register locally.

    But when I try to register Ananlys Server remotely from my PC which also has ASP4 installed,i get the following error.

    Errors occured while connecting to<Server>

    Cannot connect to the repository.

    Analysis Server:<server>

    Error:

    Could not use ''; file already in use.

    Do you still want to register this server?

    Also I have been included in OLAP Administrator group on the remote server.

    Any help Plz.

    Hi,

    I dont know why u are registering the analysis again because it is already running on that server or if u have still error the see ur dsn.

    just drill down the analysis it will workfine.if the error is still coming then check that the user had the logon service permission on system.or u have sufficient permission on remote login.
