Log File backup every 4 hours

    Hi All

    I need your help on this:

    I need to take the log file backup every 4 hour interval. if I use the maintenance plan, the file name is constant, cannot change.

    So I need the script to take the log file backup every 4 hour with dynamic file name.... So dear friends please help me by providing the script asap

    Hello Santhosh,

    Every log file in a maintenance plan will be suffixed by a timestamp data. So you can go ahead and create the required maintenance plan. Even you can check it up on a test server before heading for the actual production server, if you are not that sure.
