How to schedule a jon to run at 1.00 am or 1.00 pm

  • The schedule tool in SQL server does not have a 24 hour clock ( its 00:00:00 to 12:00:00 only) , so when I set a job to run at 01:00:00 what am I actually getting.

    1.00 am or 1.00 pm

How do you use the 24 hour clock within the SQL agent tool scheduler in SQL 2000 ?

    Thx

  • Hello, maybe this could help. Within the same job, create a 2nd schedule. This will allow you to set different schedules without creating a 2nd job. Just an idea! Hope this helps

  • What are you talking about? When I edit a schedule for one of my jobs (or create one for a new job), it gives me the option to chose AM or PM.

    -SQLBill

  • I have Enterprise manager v8

    .."chose AM or PM"...

Either I am blind, I cant see this anywere ?

    I go in EM

    SQL server Agent

    Select My job

    Select Properties for the Job

    Select Schedules

    Select Edit, Recurring, Change

    Daily Frequency

And there is nothing on AM or PM

    Please advise...

  • The settings in the operating system were not set for AM and PM. They were set as NULL. Hence I saw nothing come up.

    Go Control Panel time settings.
