Error in Connection within 2 Computers( sql server )

    hi

    i have a problem with connecting two SQLserver together.

    this is my situation : - here we have three computer .

    one of them has windows Server2003 With Domain Controller,

    another one has windows Server2003 Without Domain Controller,

    and it is member of that domain and With SQLserver2000,

    And a client that has winxp and it is member of that domain and With SQLserver2000.

    this is my problem : i want to connect this two SqlServer together without logining

    to domain.that's a point that i Could do this before but i do not khow what happend

    that i can not do it khow. thank you for your answer.

    Hi,

    what kind of connection do you want? linked server, open rowset..?

    In any case you can connect the servers by not using windows security but sql server logins.

    Also make sure the login has the permission/rights to the desired database.
