Cannot open Activity Monitor

  When I am trying to connect Activity monitor after Restoring master and restarting the SQl Server, it is throwing following messsage;

  View or function 'master.sys.dm_exec_sessions' has more column names specified than columns defined. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 4502)

   

  What could be the possible reason? Everything elase is working fine even SP-WHO2 etc.,  .

  Did you apply the service packs and patches after restoring master?

  If not try after service packs and patches...
