I am trying to do a restore with an .mdf file only. The .mdf file was recovered from our backup provider utilizing an online restore. I have tried to detach the database remove the existing mdf and ldf file and replace with the new (restored) mdf file. I get an error for the log file saying the physical file name may be incorrect ..attach failed
I have also tried to use the sp_attach_single_file….. No luck
please help!
