This one is the strange issue.
Operating System : Windows 2003 Standard 64x
SQL Server Version Info: Microsoft SQL Server 2000 - 8.00.2039 (Intel X86) May 3 2005 23:18:38 Copyright (c) 1988-2003 Microsoft Corporation Enterprise Edition on Windows NT 5.2 (Build 3790: Service Pack 1)
I have configure a Linked Server and when I execute SELECT TOP 10 * FROM [LinkedServer].[Database].[dbo].[TableName] it gives me following strange error
Server: Msg 7399, Level 16, State 1, Line 1
OLE DB provider 'SQLOLEDB' reported an error. The provider did not give any information about the error.
OLE DB error trace [OLE/DB Provider 'SQLOLEDB' IUnknown::QueryInterface returned 0x80004005: The provider did not give any information about the error.].
In case if anyone has a solution, please let me know
