How to compare data in text and database record using SSIS?

    HI,

    I want to create a package which checks for date in text and record in database, if date matches then load the file content to database.

    Any body help me how do i do this?

    Hi,

    Dont quite understand your question?

    You want to check for the date in a string in the database? Why dont you strip out the date prior to doing this in SSIS? That way it becomes a little neater.

    If you have no other option, try the fuzzy lookup transformation
