  Hi Guys,

  when im trying to run a job manualy im getting this error msg:

  Could not load type 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Smo.Agent.JobBaseCollection' from assembly 'Microsoft.SqlServer.Smo, Version=9.0.242.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=89845dcd8080cc91'. (SqlManagerUI)

  anyone has an idea why its happening?

  This looks like SP2 issue. Did u install service pack 2. I have seen it happen when the client and the server have different service packs installed.

  you are right. I was browsing the web & it said that i have to reinstall sp2 and thats what i did.

  it solved the problem finally...
