  Dear All,

  I am facing the issue with DB Mail in our production server. When i checked the mails log, i found the below error.

  All the settings are fine. It worked fine till yest afternoon 1:00 pm. After then it is throwing the error. as below.

  Message

  The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 5 (2009-04-27T16:15:02). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond).

  )

  Please help me in this as all the mails are strucked..

  Check if port 25 is not blocked by anti virus program..

  Check the mail server is up and running ..Also check whether the account 5 is properly configured.
