Restoring Reporting Services 2005

  • I'm planning for a disaster recovery scenario where our SQL Server 2005 Report Server crashes and I need to restore from the backup ReportServer and ReportServerTempDB files to a different server.

    1. Does the ReportServer database contain the report definitions (rdl), report history and subscriptions?

    2. Is a recovery as simple as restoring the ReportServer and ReportServerTempDB databases and encryption keys to a new server?
