BackupIoRequest::WaitForIoCompletion: write failure on backup device . Operating system error 1450

    We are running SQLServer Enterprise Edition, 8GB, 8proc, Win 2003 Server, sp3a. Our disk is a netapp.  We just added the -g384 startup parameter.  The max memory setting is 6GB.  We use a Dell 6650, with hyperthreaded cpu.  We are running SQLLitespeed backup & restore utility, version 3.1.0.2.  SQLLitespeed is invoked from our application code, in order to backup & restore our databases on a schedule. 

     

    We hit this error today, the backup succeeded but the restore failed with this:
