ssis solution opens all packages automatically

    When the ssis solution is opened, all the packages open in seperate tabs automatically which takes a long time. I just want to open the ssis solution and then select manually which package I want to open. I would assume there is some option but do not know what. Thanks, Rich

    I agree, waiting for the packages to open can be annoying and time consuming.

    If you close all of the packages before you save the solution, they should be closed when you reopen it.

    Make sure you close ALL package when you exit SSIS each time. This way, when you open it next time, you just have to navigate to your package and open it that way. Definitely faster!
