Hi people,
I am totally new to this so please forgive me if i have asked wrong question in wrong forum, i just want to know that how can i get the beta version of SQL Server 9.0.

Hi Pat,
There are two different way that you can get a copy of SQL 2005 Beta,
1) You can talk to your Miicrosoft Account Manager.
2) If you were a MSDN member you could downlaod it.

Note: the previous link is to the SQL Express beta, which is the replacement for SQL Server MSDE, hence no frontend etc.

For a Query Analyzer type of front end, email: sqlguy@hotmail.com
He is developing one that can be used with it. Unfortunately, it is the only way I have found of managing it since the current Enterprise Manager and Access XP and 2003 ADPs do not work with it.

Microsoft recruit beta testers from http://www.betaplace.com for most programs, so try registering there if you can. I doubt there will be any more testers invited before RC1 though
