AS consistently on XP for Tablet when saving cube

    I installed AS on my PC. Have latest versions & service packs of Win XP for tablet, SQL Server 2000 and Analysis services. Whenever the app tries to save the cube - from the wizard or in 'edit' mode - it immediately dies. No error message, the window just disappears. I can save dimensions OK but not cubes. I rely very much on this PC - even though it's a tablet, everything else runs perfectly on it, and I need to travel and use AS while traveling. I hope there's an easy, quick fix. The problem is 100% reproducible, happens every time. P.S. I also have Office 2003, don't know if that has anything to do with it.

    by the way - more info - this happens whether the repository is on access or sql server. server and AS are both at SP 3.0. thanks.

    You may need to check with Microsoft, but I do not believe that AS is supported on Tablet PC. We had some people try to install it on Tablet but ran into similar problems.
