.zip DB to open in SQL server formate

    hi,

    i hav got 1 DB in .zip formate

    can anybody tell, hw can i open into sql server 2000 compatible formate??

    i hav created new DB in enterprise manager wher this DB will sit after getting converted...Pls help fast..

    You have probably figured it out by now, but just in case.

    First unzip it. In windows xp or 3 a right-mouse click and option unzip will do.  Otherwise you need to install an unzip program.  There are lots of free ones available on the internet.

    Next check the files in the zip file.  That is probably a sqlserver backup for or otherwise a database and a log file.
