Accessing shared data sources

    When working with the report designer on a client I never get any shared data sources to chose from (when defining a data set or starting the report wizard).

    I have defined shared data sources via the report manager and I have published shared data sources created in the designer. But I can't select them from the drop down list when I create a new report.

    Do I have to "tell" VS where to look for them?

    Either re-create them every time (painful I know) or alternatively you could RC o the project in the project explorer and select add existing item and then go to one of your DS's from a previous project.  I've not tried this for a DS but it definitely works for reports.
