Exporting To Excel

    I am taking 28k rows and dropping them into Excel and the file is huge, currently 9 MG's, anyway I can shrink the file size down when I export?

    What are you using to export? DTS or BCP?? Is the excel file huge or different file?

    Right now I have tried the following:

    1.  Standard copy and paste.

    2.  Saving the results to a text file and importing the text file.

    3.  Setting up an ODBC link from SQL to Excel.
