Hi There,
I have a weired problem going on one of my SQL Server 2000 database where other databases are working fine on the same server.
We have a "Products" database on our server but its stop working all of sudden & not inserting or updating few tables (ex: 'Table A', 'Table K') unless we stop & re-start the sql services again. Is there anything particular we should do on these specific tables or there is total wrong with entire "Product" database?
Please help me in this regard how we could solve this issue.

Are you using multiple database files/filegroups for your database? Is your DB set to autogrow? Can you update/insert into some tables but not others?

Hi John,
Yes, my DB set to auto grow. And yes, I can update / insert into some tables but not others.
I remember i had created another logfile along with the old one but later I deleted new one by detaching & reattaching the db. Is this helpful to trace to problem?
I'm sorry for posting my message in other thread as well since I was new & didnt know much about the categories over here but later I got familiared.
I really appreciate any of your thoughts!
