  Please pardon my ignorance, but can someone give me an example of a "self-update" query?

  I think it's something like that

  UPDATE C
  SET C.Name = 'Blah'
  FROM Customers AS C
  WHERE C.Name IS NULL

  If I'm wrong please correct me.
