MS CRM 3.0 and Reporting Services problem

  • CRM highly recommends using thier filtered views for reporting but when I use the filtered views and generate the report no data is displayed.  I use Windows NT Integrated security in my data source as the book suggests...

If I run the query in sql analyzer, I can see the data but not when I generate the report in reporting services I cannot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

  • When connecting to Query Analyser are you authenticating using Windows-integrated authentication? When you say Reporting Services doesn't see the data, is it that the report doesn't generate any data or that the dataset itself doesn't return any data (and hence you'll have no report fields)? Perhaps you could also try changing the data source to use a defined username/password, which can be an AD username/password if qualified (user@domain.intranet or old-style domain\user).
