Visual studio team edition for database professionals(VSTE)

    Hi,

    I am trying to evaluate VSTE( Visual studio team edition). But found that it is incompatible with sql server 2005 developer edition. Does any one have more information as to which other editions of sql server 2005, VSTE is incompatible with ?

    VSTE does not work with the developer edition of sql server 2005. this is what we found out. Not sure if this is because we did not install either of the softwares correctly.

    Which edition os Team Edition are you using? What is the exact behavior you're seeing (i.e. you cannot connect to a Developer Edition instance from within a database project)?

    to get an answer more quickly post what error msg you're getting.
