SQL Socket Locks

  I have a script that connects to the SQL Database, writes records, and Closes, but seems to be causing up to 5 Socket locks that do not seem to be releasing following record Close. After about 250-300 socket locks, the SQL Server stops responding to all calls, including application logins and SQL Server Maintenance logins. Can anyone point me to the likely cause for something that?

  Post your script. Is it a vbscript, TSQL, pearl, POSIX.....?
