input parameter in MS SQL 2005 report

    I am designing a report which need to take parameter input by user when the report is open. Can anyone please tell me how to do this? Using MS SQL 2005 report. Thanks.

    It is very simple,

    I'm not sure if this is a trick question.

    Under the report drop down, Select Report Parameters.

    Configure your parameter.

    and then you can use it to plug into your datasource.

    No. This is not a trick question. I am new. That's why. May I know where do you set this up?Is it Business Intelligence Development Studio? I couldn't find it. Please advise. Thanks.
