I am trying to install BOL 2005 but I got this error. I do not have or want to intall management studio, I just need the BOL so I could lookup something for reference
Here is my error
"Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Books Online (English) (september 2007) requires .NET Framework version 2.0. Ensure that this requirements is fullfilled before installing Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Books Online (English) (september 2007)"
My question is which .Net Framework version 2.0 should I download? I think I have xp home edition.
Thanks.

I have to admit I've never tried installing BOL without management studio. Just get the latest net framework 2.x and I assume it should work.

I got it working now. I didn't know that .net 2.0 frame work redistribution package is what I need. Thanks.
