SQL Server 2005 Installation Question

    Hi !!

    I have SQL Server 2000 installed on my system and i am planning to download the SQL Server 2005 Express edition onto the same system. My question is will i be able to access the SQL Server 2000 even if i install 2005. Can i download SQL Server 2005 onto my machine without removing SQL Server 2000. I dont want to remove SQL Server 2000 from my system. Please advice.

    Hello,

    You can install SQL 2005 without un-installing SQL 2000 but you need to install SQL 2005 as a named instance.
