Hi
I make .bak file, then in another server I generated a new databases with the name of the bakupdatabase, the I try to make a restores but I can't I receive the next error:
system.data.sqlclient.sqlerror: The media set has 2 media families but only 1 are provide. All members must be provide. (Microsoft.SqlServer.smo)
I really don't know how to do.

I forgot the log and the mdf are in diferent drives, and I 'm using sqlserver2005

When you created the backup, you striped it across two files. This is a common mistake and the interface doesn't really alert you to this fact.
When you do the backup, if there is a file name listed, you must remove it before you add another one. If two are listed, the backup is sent to both backups, not just the highlighted one.
You need the other file or need to make a backup with only one file listed.
