Hi All,
I am getting a error "unexpected error occurred" While installing SP2 on Sql server 2005. Error log informatin in below.
Present SQL server 2005 details are
product version: 9.00.1399.06
product level: RTM
edition: Standard Edition (64-bit)

Can any one suggest what exactly the issue.
Can i install sp2 with out sp1 on sql server 2005 RTM. Suggest me.

In which drive you installed SQL Server?
You can install SP2 without SP1....

SQL server exists in C Drive. So, by the default we are not changing any installation path of sp2.

Please check the log file mentioned in that error message and post it here
