Difference between the script to remove replication

    Hi All, I got two scripts to remove replication

    1.sp_removedbreplication

    2.sp_dropsubscription

    sp_droppublication

    Please tell me what is the difference between them? which one is better to use?

    FYI

    When i used the 1st one i found the replication was deleted but it was

    still showing in the replication monitor with the red crossed error mark.

    The 1 method should only be used in extreme conditions like "lost distributor", misconfigured server, databases etc... you should use the second method always!
