I am creating a SSIS pkg which fetches the data from DB2 and load it into SQL 2005 .
Now while running it gives the following error...

It sounds like you have a conversion issue, can you either break down the package so that you know which task is failing, or post the datatypes for the table you are exporting/importing to.

Hi,
I made a Oledb source which is from my DB2 darabase (IBM I Series one)
and a Oledb Destination which is my Sql Server 2005 database.
When I m building my project it builds successfully but when I am trying to run the project it displays the above error..

you say that you re importing into sql from db2, if you view the data task, and look at the mappings, does everything look ok, can you preview the data?, have you set up dataviewers to track the data as it is transformed/imported.
