How to install SQL server 2008 standard edition on window 7?

    Pls help guys newbie on this forum :P.. i don't know how to install on window 7.. or i mean i installed the program to my pc but when i try to log in.. i got error everytime.. 🙁 pls help or can u guys give me instructions :/..

    I don't know this for sure, but I think you can only install Developer Edition, Workgroup Edition and Express Edition on a Workstation OS. 2000, XP, Vista, Windows7. Standard and Enterprice require a server based OS

    That is not correct only Enterprise require server operating system however Standard require Windows 7 Pro, Ultimate and Enterprise that is those that runs IIS 7.5 with Windows authentication. Check the link below for details.
