SQL 2005 Job calling DTS

  • Hi All,

I've been tasked to convert DTS packages to SSIS for our move to SQL 2008. The DTS packages

are called in jobs from our SQL 2005 instance. Now, the problem is that there is a DTS job being

    called like this:

    DTSRun /~Z0x938B5D31BF1C95D4D9BCBEC92F5AC8535E4E67CA2F2D76013FC7C8FFF0BBC3B3B72810

I'm not sure but this looks like hex?? Can anyone tell me how I take the above information and turn it into

something useful like a DTS package name for instance?

    🙂

    Cheers

    William

  • In particular, the method described by Dale Cunningham in that thread has always worked for me.
