Hi Team, I am installing SQL Server 2008(32 bit Enterprise Edition) Cluster on on Widows 2003 with SP2(32 bit),
it consists of two nodes, I have started installation on node1 in the feature selection below there is a shared feature directory i am getting below error
"The shared directory (or command line option INSTALLSQLSHAREDDIR) value for a cluster installation cannot be a directory on a shared disk"
I have attached the screen shot also, Please check

Your using a shared drive. Try to use a local disk on the physcial server.

to add to the previous reply, at this point in the installation you are not specifying the shared drives the SQL server instance will use. Specify a local for the shared features and further on in the install specify the group and shared disk resources the instance itself will use
