VS 2010 Ultimate with MSDN Giveaway - Completed!

,

UPDATE: The three licenses have been claimed!

Like other MVPs and Regional Directors, I've got three licenses of Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate with MSDN to give away. These are Not for Resale (NFR) licenses that will need to be activated within about 180 days. I'm all about encouraging community participation, so the contest will involve answering questions related to the community. This is intended to be fun, not so serious, and if you aren't sure of an answer, feel free to ask the community. So if you're interested, be one of the first three people to send an email to kbriankelley {at} acm {dot} org with the answers to the following questions:

  • What is a lamb roll?
  • Who might just be the most "hated" man in the SQL Server community? (Hint: the community keeps a running list of everyone he has potentially offended during his presentations)
  • What was SQL Rockstar's moniker in the community before he adopted the rock star persona?
  • Name any three members of the current PASS Board of Directors.
  • What long time SQL Server MVP wrote a Perl module called Win32::SqlServer? (Hint: Spelling counts)

Once I've determined the three winners, I'll post who they are on here as well as notifying them via e-mail.

Note: There are a few restrictions on this MSDN license: there is no subscription to MSDN magazine, there are no support calls, and all software (including MS Office 2010) is for development and testing only. So no free Office license.
