Maint Plans will not open for edit

    Just started a new job and trying to figure out some of the security and ran into something that just makes me scratch my head. I have sysadmin rights on the sql database but if I try to do a right click and modify an existing Maint Plan it will not come up, same thing if I try to create a new Maint Plan. Really strange, I checked with somebody else here and they can modify a Maint plan so I tried to mimick their access but no luck.

    Any help or ideas appreciated !!

    First of all I'd ensure all service packs and cumulative updates have been applied to your Mgt Studio.

    I've come across weird bugs that were resolved in CUs

    Thanks for the response and I believe that getting the service packs up to date is the best course of action to fix this issue.
