Expression Builder Elipse Button(...) Does Not Appear

    Hello,

    I am attempting to create an expression for a package variable in a SQL Server Integration Services project, but the elipse button in the expression property for the variable does not appear (Visual Studio 2005). I've tried two different screen resolutions,

    Why would the elipse not be there? Is there a keystroke I can use to open the exrpression builder?

    Try putting your cursor in the Expression field and pressing F4.

    Make sure EvaluateAsExpression is set to True.

    I tried F4 by setting the expression value to true...

    but still unable get the expression builder

    Could you highlight your variable and copy a picture of the variable and property box into your next post?

    That might help us visualize the issue.

    Your screen shot does not show the right hand side of the properties box ...

    If you haven't even tried to resolve your issue, please don't expect the hard-working volunteers here to waste their time providing links to answers which you could easily have found yourself.

    EDIT- Whoops. Made the @@Version comment about the wrong post. My bad.

    I need to see a shot of the variable from the variables window AND the entire properties box when the variable has the focus, please.
