SQL Server 2005 Express on Windows 7

  • God bless you all!

I have simple question, hoping that someone will answer to it soon. I bought new computer recently with Windows 7 as OS on it. On Microsoft site I read that I should install Service Pack 3 for both SQL Server 2005 Express edition and Management Studio, so I did. Installation was ok. After feiw days I was offered from Windows Update to download and install Service Pack 4 for those products. I did so, but now I have my question.

Does anyone know where Windows put those downloaded setup files. When working on XP SP2, I knew it will be, by default, on C:\Windows\Downloaded Program Files or something like it.

    Please help.

    Sincerely yours

Check documents and at the top left is download you will see the files, if you are in x64 then check the x86 programs folder because there is no x64 SQL Server Express 2005 only x86 binaires that can be used in x64 Vista and Windows 7.
