eMail subscription failing

    Using SSRS 2008 R2 Standard

    I set up an eMail subscription to send a report to an email address with a .de (Germany) extension as in anybody@abc.de

    The subscription failed with this message: "The e-mail address of one or more recipients is not valid"

    This was in the ReportServer log file:

    extensionfactory!ReportManager_0-17!13d8!06/20/2011-12:53:23:: w WARN: The extension Report Server Email does not have a LocalizedNameAttribute.

    extensionfactory!ReportManager_0-17!13d8!06/20/2011-12:53:23:: w WARN: The extension Report Server FileShare does not have a LocalizedNameAttribute.

    I probably need to update a config file setting to handle the .de extension.

    Does anyone know how to fix this?

    Do you have email subscriptions that are working anywhere?

    Yes I do. I got the subscriptions working. Our email administrator needed to grant permission for the report server to send email ourside of the company domain.
