Issue while setting connection string for excel sheet

    Hi All,

    I am trying to use variable for setting path of source excel sheet, but when i tried validating it, i am getting following error

    "The connection String format is not valid.It must consist of one or more components of the form X=Y, separated by Semicolons. This error occurs when a connection string with zero components is set on database connection manager."

    Please let me know if someone has come across same issue and its solution.

    you need to add a default value for your variable. we use templates to make sure that the connection string can validate, and then we override the value with the new file.
