How to get Excel 2010 in the "excel version" list?

    When I go into the SQL Server Import and Export Wizard and choose "Microsoft Excel" as the destination, the "Excel version" drop down only goes up to "Microsoft Excel 2007".

    What has to be installed to make "Excel 2010" appear on the list?

    Nothing, 2007 and 2010 work on an xml file format basis therefore they work together.

    If you want to import a 2010 workbook, use a 2007 file type as they are both XLSX.

    Thanks. This issue came up because of the row limits per worksheet, but after looking into it more, it was the 2007 version that increased the limit.
