Adding a node to a cluster

  • Quick question. Although this question seems basic and the answer seems obvious, better to ask and be sure, than not ask and get it wrong.

    When adding a node to a SQL Cluster, does the node need to already be part of the windows cluster?

    Yes

  • you need to make sure any storage has been presented too
