Multiple forms of replication for a database

    We're looking into using merge replication on one of databases, which is already setup for transactional replication. I havne't yet found any information on whether or not it will work to have the same database transactionally replicate to server A and also to use merge replication with server B. Anyone have any experience with this?

    Yes..we have a database that is a merge subscriber and is republished as a transactional publisher..no problems.

    You may want to have a think about how you want it to work as the two replicate with different rules
