As we approach a new year many of you will be looking at your SQL Server Training needs for 2013. During 2012 I was fortunate enough to author another course for Learning Tree – this course focuses on running SQL Server in a virtual environment. It is titled 2109 SQL Server Virtualisation and Consolidation.
As I discussed in my previous post 2012 was a release year for SQL Server 2012 and the chances are that you may be planning on migrating too it in 2013. You might also be considering running SQL Server in a virtual environment. More and more firms are adopting a virtual first approach to new server builds there might be a need for you to run SQL Server in a virtual environment. SQL Server can run perfectly well on a virtual platform if things are set and configured correctly and in the course 2109 SQL Server virtualisation and consolidation we will discuss how to do this.
