Date validation default error message not working properly

    The default error message for date in SSRS is sometimes working, sometimes clearing the value in date input box.

    Not a lot to go on.

    How are you prompting the user for a date? What data type is your parameter?

    data type of parameter is 'date'. The error occur when the user directly entering date into the input box without using date picker. The user typed invalid date value, but the default system message not displayed and automatically clear the value go for the search.
