Transactional Replication from SS 2016 to SS 2014

    Is it possible to
    a.  Create a Snapshot for Transactional Replication in 2016 and restore it in 2014 ?
    b.  Have SS 2016 be a Publisher and SS 2014 be a subscriber ?

    Are there any known or potential issues ?

    Right : "a SQL Server 2016 Publisher can have SQL Server 2014 and SQL Server 2012 Subscribers."
