multi replication

    Hi

    is it possible to manage a merge replication on 2 servers AND a transactionnal replication between one of them and another ??

    More explanations : 3 servers , 2 with merge repl & 2 with transactionnal repl

     

    Have you implemented it ?

    You shouldn't have any problems as long as you don't include the same article in more than one publication.

    So I get A problem because I'd like to publish the same article !!

    My architecture Is the following :

    Place  1: SQL Server and computers with MSDE . A merge replication

    Place 2, far from place 1 : sql server. A transactionnal replication with place 1

    I'd like to replicate the sames article. But the server place 1 is a publisher and place 2 only a subscriber.

    What do you think about it ?
