I have a few clients who are getting the error "The Specified Service Does Not Exist as an Installed Service" when connecting to ssis from management studio. All versions are 2014 they are patched to the exact same patch level 12.0.5207 and all things match. Everything I read says its versioning but they are the same. I can connect locally on the server fine in ssms. I have one developer that can connect remotely but everyone else is having this issue. We have added our users to the dcom group as well as the component services, any ideas?

What version of SSMS are you using?
I've seen this when you try to connect with a version of SSMS that is a higher version than 2014
I think this is an SSMS issue, not a server issue.

thanks ssms is 2014 installed from the 2014 install media and it matches what is on the server version wise. everything looks the same versioning wise.
